Las Vegas Italian restaurant Piero's sold to Pinkbox, Bagelmania owner

Piero'sItalian Cuisine, a Las Vegas dining institution, has been sold to the ownershipgroup behind Pinkbox Doughnuts and Siegel's Bagelmania.
Apublicist said Amazing Brands, led by Stephen Siegel, acquired Piero's fromFreddie Glusman.
AmazingBrands will take over full operation control, while Glusman will retain anownership stake and "remain an active presence at the restaurant,"according to the announcement.
"Piero'sisn't just a restaurant—it's part of the fabric of Las Vegas," Siegel saidin a statement. "I'm honored Freddie has entrusted me with this legacy.I’m committed to preserving everything that makes Piero’s—and what Freddie hasbuilt—so special: the charm, glamour, atmosphere, and that old-school Vegasexperience that’s become so rare."
Piero's islocated at 355 Convention Center Dr., just east of Siegel's Bagelmania. Therestaurant, which opened in the 1980s, is known for attracting celebrities andpoliticians with its "classic Vegas" ambiance.
